Shivam Soni is an accomplished Software Developer with a strong background in backend design and development, big data, and machine learning. With over 2 years of experience in the field, Shivam has a sound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and Python. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Impact Analytics, where he is responsible for designing and developing all backend modules. Shivam has worked extensively on the TestSmart platform, where he designed and developed all project modules from scratch. The platform enables retailers to create real-world simulations for omnichannel data at one point. He has also designed and developed restful APIs responsible for uploading and performing complex calculations and aggregations on large datasets of up to 150GB to create analytics dashboards. Shivam implemented caching across various APIs to reduce latency by many folds from 1 min to 100 ms. He also designed and developed a scheduler responsible for creating a cache for all existing simulations, updating tables with refreshed values, and sending notifications. Shivam has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. He also has experience as a Data Scientist intern at Impact Analytics.
