Shivam Vijaywargiya is a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. Currently working at CRED as a Backend Engineer, Shivam has also worked as the Head of Backend at Flint, where he was a founding member of the team and scaled it up to 4 members. He worked closely with the product, design, and frontend teams to make crucial product decisions and lay the groundwork for v0. Shivam designed and implemented various platform services from the ground up, including OMS, Referrals, Auth, Comms, etc. He also implemented complex product logics with crucial attention towards race conditions and handling scenarios like concurrency and idempotency. Shivam has also worked at CRED, where he initiated the backend efforts on the first investment product called Mint. He led the initial design phase and identified core partner integrations, raised and resolved core doubts early on, and created the backend roadmap. Shivam implemented the core product service to handle all user interactions and complex business logics. He scaled the system to 1L+ users and onboarded 2 interns to the team, guiding them to ramp up and deliver outcomes. He helped them create scalable designs and understand the nuances of system design. Shivam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology. He also has a Senior Secondary and High School degree from Sunbeam Lahartara, Varanasi, U.P., and a School degree from Sunbeam School Bhagwanpur, Varanasi, U.P.
