Shivang Chopra is a highly motivated and skilled research intern with a passion for using technology to solve complex problems. He is currently working at Microsoft Research, where he is focused on offensive content detection in OTT platforms. Under the guidance of Dr. Sameep Mehta and Ms. Nishtha Madaan, Shivang is leveraging his expertise in computer science to develop innovative solutions that improve the safety and security of online content. Prior to joining Microsoft, Shivang worked as a research intern at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he focused on breast cancer detection under the guidance of Dr. Chetan Arora. He also gained valuable experience as a research intern at the University of Pennsylvania, where he honed his skills in data analysis and research methodology. Shivang holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from DTU, where he was an active member of the student community and participated in various extracurricular activities. He also holds a High School Diploma from Lancer's Convent. With nearly three years of relevant experience as a research scientist, Shivang has developed a strong technical skillset that includes expertise in data analysis, research methodology, and offensive content detection. He is a quick learner who is always eager to take on new challenges and expand his knowledge base.
