Shivang Shekhar is a Product Management Analyst and Product Owner at Egen Solutions Inc, based in the Chicago area of Illinois, USA. Shivang is a public speaker and previously served as a Product Evangelist for Mozilla, BlockStack, and the International VR/AR association. Shivang's best projects include Project Colonel Panic (with Amazon India), Self Driving Car (with Honda Motors USA), Autonomous Drone, and Fake News detection using Machine Learning and Pandemic Rider (done in collaboration and mentoring of Amazon). He is an advisor/consultant for blockchain projects and actively takes part in ICO's and product vision for the blockchain industry. In his current role at Egen Solutions Inc, Shivang closely looks at and participates in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for internal and client projects. He acts as the customer advocate articulating the user’s and/or buyer’s needs for clear communication with the dev teams. He works closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met and on time. His role also involves Scrum/Project Management, Jira Management, running sprints, backlog maintenance, and support to developers on existing issues. Shivang also leads the modernization efforts at Egen to re-structure Marketing and BD.
