Shivangi Ranjan is an accomplished Embedded Software Developer at Intel and a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where she received both her B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering and Music Information Retrieval/Signal Processing, respectively. With a relevant experience of 2.78 years, Shivangi has a diverse background in Software Engineering, Research Science, and Integration. During her time at IIT Kanpur, Shivangi worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, where she collaborated with her thesis supervisor, Dr. Vipul Arora, to incorporate a unique integration of semi-global alignment, a salient field of research in bioinformatics, to successfully design an MIR-based QBH system. Her work was published in IEEE titled "A Bioinformatic Method Of Semi-Global Alignment For Query-By-Humming". Shivangi also worked as a Summer Undergraduate Research Intern at the Max Planck Institute of Terrestrial Microbiology. As an Embedded Software Developer at Intel, Shivangi has honed her skills in software development and integration. She has a strong understanding of software development and the ability to work with a wide range of programming languages and technologies. Shivangi is also proficient in music information retrieval and signal processing, which has helped her in her current role.
