Shivani Ashra is an experienced and result-oriented engineer with a demonstrated history of working in various roles and responsibilities in the IT industry. With over 7 years of experience, Shivani has developed skills in iOS and Hybrid Application Development, with hands-on knowledge of various technologies. Currently, she is leading a team of frontend and mobile engineers at Urban Company while upholding the three pillars of engineering management (People, Project, and Process). In her previous role as Engineering Manager at Shuttl, Shivani managed a team of 7 people comprising of both mobile and frontend engineers. She owned the development practices, processes, and standards for her team and prioritized and delivered the product roadmap while chipping away technical debt. Shivani worked effectively with a cross-functional team of product managers, business, designers, and engineers and defined the roadmap and strategy for engineering deliverables. She collaborated with the Support team to keep track of and triage technical issues and track them through to resolution. Shivani was also responsible for people development in her team, which included career growth and appraisals. She hired talents across different functions. Some key areas that Shivani's team worked on include Remote International launch for Shuttl operation in Bangkok, Setup boilerplate code for new Android, iOS, React-native, and Web projects, Build and host reusable app components using SPM and GitHub-packages, Developed and maintained consumer, driver, and route incharge app for both Intracity and International market, GPS Pipeline improvements for India & International Market for improved ETA and tracking, Revamped the existing apps for better Ui/UX, Actively contributed to discussions with the automation team for auto sanity setup, and Migration from ChirpConnect to Lisnr SDK for improving the customer boarding authentication experience. Shivani holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and completed her High School education in PCM (Non-Medical) from Lancer's Convent. She has a strong tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, iOS, Mobile, Android, Frontend, Web, UI, Software Engineer, Test, Javascript, Integration, MySQL, Backend, and New Relic.
