Shivani Katukota is an experienced WPF developer who is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University, Bloomington. With a 4.0 GPA, Shivani has a strong academic background in machine learning and cloud computing. In her first semester, she completed a project on the Oracle cloud, demonstrating her proficiency in handling virtual machines and object storage through a command-line tool in the Windows environment. She also worked on a project that compared three different convolutional neural networks based on their accuracy in classifying hand x-ray images as normal or abnormal, which helped her to learn the basics of neural networks and how to tune them to achieve better results. Shivani has over six years of experience as a software developer with Nagarro, where she not only accomplished the design and development tasks assigned to her but also worked as an associate team lead responsible for a group of recent graduates. She mentored and assigned tasks to them, performed code reviews, and taught them to follow general practices of Agile, such as time and task management on the JIRA tool. Throughout her career at Nagarro, Shivani has always been excited to take up challenging problems that would arise from time to time, and her managers would be able to vouch for the same if asked for recommendations. For her contribution to the project, Nagarro has awarded her the 'Employee of the Month Award' multiple times. Shivani is an aspiring machine learning engineer and is actively looking for entry-level positions in the fields of machine learning or cloud computing. She is proficient in ML, neural networks, software engineering, and big data. Shivani is a detail-oriented and diligent individual who is passionate about coding and constantly seeks to enhance her knowledge of new technologies.
