Shivani Matta is a strategic and technology-driven leader with over 20 years of experience delivering products in consumer and enterprise segments. She has worked with top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Real Networks, GE, and Patni Computer Systems. Currently, Shivani is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google, where she oversees teams of software engineers, applied scientists, data scientists, and other managers. Shivani's key roles involve defining the roadmap, strategic planning, operations, relationships, hiring, and P&L performance. She is a quick learner who believes in getting out of her comfort zone and treating every day as Day 1. Outside of work, she loves baking and is new to the half marathon league. At Microsoft, Shivani was part of the Commercial Software Engineering (CSE) leadership team, where she partnered with other commercial enterprises going through their digital transformation journey or solving complex and cutting-edge technology solutions for them using Azure. Her team also created reusable assets and contributed back to the open-source community. She was accountable for three teams, totaling 25 ICs, including seven principals. Her team delivered various complex technology solutions for S500 partners like FedEx, Dow Chemicals, HCA healthcare, P&G, Sony. At Amazon, Shivani led the Acquisition and Adoption charter in Amazon Business. Her team used a variety of models, including a custom ML model, to acquire B2B customers and navigate them through their shopping journey. They surpassed their acquisition goals, leading to B2B's overall success. B2B passed 10 Billion in revenue under her leadership. Shivani holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur and completed her high school education from Saint Mary School, Himachal Pradesh.
