Shivani Tyagi is an experienced software engineer with over 9 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. She is skilled in DataStage, Teradata, and Power BI and has a demonstrated history of creating reporting solutions out of BI environments based on documented business requirements. Currently serving her notice period at L&T, Shivani is actively looking for a job change. In her current role, Shivani is working on the Hyperion Retirement project, which involves creating reports in Power BI, followed by their documentation and testing. She is responsible for scheduling the report to run and mail them to the respective clients through Job Scheduler. Shivani also troubleshoots BI tool problems and tunes them for performance. She collaborates on the development of end-user training and documentation and provides second-line support to power users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues. Previously, Shivani worked for Freescale Semiconductor and L&T Infotech, where she extensively worked on Teradata MLoad, Teradata FastLoad Stage, and Teradata Load Utilities like BTEQ, Multiload, Fast load, TPump to extract, transform, and load data. She wrote UNIX shell Scripts for file validation and scheduling Data Stage jobs. Shivani designed, developed, and built Datastage parallel jobs using DataStage designer and developed parallel jobs using various stages like Join, Merge, Funnel, Lookup, Sort, Transformer, Copy, Remove Duplicate, Filter, Peek, Column Generator, and Aggregator stages for grouping and summarizing on key performance indicators used in decision support systems. Shivani has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from KEC and completed her schooling from CCDPS.
