Shivanika Shah is a highly skilled AI/ML Data Scientist with a passion for problem-solving using programming. She is currently a Velocity Summer 2022 student and Data Scientist at Scotiabank, where she is gaining experience in the banking analytics field. Shivanika is a Master of Data Analytics (Artificial Intelligence) graduate student at Western University, Canada, with a focus on Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering. Shivanika has worked on several exciting projects, including building a deep learning-based solution for identifying employees not wearing a mask for an organization using Kaggle dataset. She has also built machine learning models to understand and classify the social sentiments of 1.6 million tweets and performed banking analytics on a 50,000+ credit card details for a bank using ensemble learning techniques to predict the probability of default at a loan. Additionally, she has performed data visualization and statistical regression model analysis to predict the count of bikes required at each hour for the stable supply of rental bikes for 3500+ users daily. With three years of work experience in the software industry, including 1.6 years in a banking project, Shivanika is skilled in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, NLP, Big Data, Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL. She is a National level Hackathon “Smart India Hackathon 2017” finalist, selected as a University Innovation Fellow by Stanford University, and a Mentor and Speaker at Google, Stanford University, USA in March 2018 (1 of 3 in India). Shivanika is also an Entrepreneurial Head at Microsoft Mobile Innovations Lab. She holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida. Additionally, she has completed courses in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Zero to Mastery Academy and attended Cambridge School, Noida.
