Shivansh Rai is a skilled programmer with over 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering, testing, and infrastructure development. He is currently a Member of Technical Staff at DevRev, where he is responsible for developing tests using a regression testing tool that can be integrated with FreeBSD. In his current role, Shivansh has developed test scripts for regression testing of TCP/IP stack implemented in FreeBSD using Google's packetdrill, and discovered and reported one bug in the behavior of TCP stack implemented in FreeBSD-11.0-Release. He has also reviewed, improved and pushed all the code to production. Shivansh has previously worked as a Google Summer of Code participant at FreeBSD, where he developed a new test infrastructure and automation tool along with basic tests to verify if all the base utilities in FreeBSD are linked properly. He also discovered and fixed one bug in the implementation of 'ln(1)' utility in FreeBSD. At SAP Cloud Platform, Shivansh worked as a Software Developer and contributed to the development of cloud-based applications. Shivansh holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is also an alumnus of St. Joseph's Convent, Sagar (M.P.).
