Shivanshu is a skilled software engineer and technology enthusiast with almost 5 years of experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Skit (previously Vernacular.ai), where he is engineering the Voice AI systems to disrupt the Voice AI domain. Shivanshu has worked on instrumenting and controlling systems, data workflow-orchestration systems, distributed data processing on cloud, data engineering, and data warehousing on cloud, microservices, and more. He is always looking for opportunities to work on anything that makes him sound like a cool technology enthusiast. In his current role at Skit, Shivanshu is responsible for designing and developing microservices, troubleshooting projects and bugs, performance tuning, DB designing and analytics, client interaction as a pre-sales engineer, building and streamlining processes for building an efficient team to achieve reduced TTL and increased ARR, writing documentations, and reviewing codes. He has built a time-advanced caching mechanism for TTS service to reduce the latency, improving CX, integrated with client APIs, orchestrated the migration of jobs and processes running on cloud VMs to a better k8s infrastructure, constructed Argo Workflows for building an ETL warehouse, built the audio-overlay feature to emulate the noisy background environment in call-centres, built CI/CD pipelines for custom analytics repositories, and introduced a feature for setting the language of the call from the Outbound Call UI interface. Before joining Skit, Shivanshu worked as an Associate Consultant at Capgemini, where he was responsible for ODS migration to Google Cloud - ETL using pipelines, highly sensitive data migration of a Financial Services client to Google Cloud. He designed, built, and implemented ETL pipelines (batch and streaming) on GCP using DataFlow and workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, integrated and injected streaming CDC data on GCP using Google pub/sub, migrated all the on-premise data to GCS and built a Data Warehouse in BigQuery, optimized the legacy codes/architecture, and received a "Pat on the Back" award from the client for diligent and outstanding efforts towards project development. Shivanshu holds a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from NIT Jalandhar.
