Shivaraj Patil is a passionate Android Developer with over 7 years of experience working in startups. He has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from M.S. Ramaiah Institute Of Technology. Shivaraj has worked with 2 early-stage startups with 1+ Million downloaded apps and is skilled in Android, Java, and Kotlin. Currently, Shivaraj is the Lead Android Developer at Masai School, where he created an app called English Rover, which has more than 100 installs. He architected, designed, and developed the app from scratch, creating features like live streaming, audio/video/group calling, and chat using Agora SDK. He used Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, Lottie, Jetpack LiveData, Room, Hilt, Navigation, Firebase, and Retrofit to develop the app. Shivaraj also helped create an advanced Android curriculum and has helped over 100 students become successful Android Developers. In his past roles, Shivaraj was the Android Lead at Bitclass, where he developed an app from scratch, architected, designed, and released the app to the Playstore. He worked closely with the CTO to shape the product, features, and future roadmap. Shivaraj also developed a live audio/video interactive classroom like Zoom using Agora, screen sharing, interactive whiteboard, live chat, create a course, and upload/play course videos. He used Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, LiveData, Room, Dagger2, and Push notifications to develop the app. In his role as Sr Android Developer at Honeywell, Shivaraj developed an app from scratch using MVVM & Java, Kotlin, offline support feature using Room & LiveData, Retrofit, Gson, Event-bus, and Push notifications. He also developed a live map-based fire event system using Microsoft SignalR and real-time fire sensors event system: Bluetooth connection with Honeywell fire safety panel to detect real-time fire events & notify users via Push notifications. Shivaraj wrote JUnit Unit tests & Espresso UI tests and managed a team of 3 engineers. Shivaraj's education history includes a Master's Degree in Computer Science from M.S.
