He is currently the Chief Engineer at Ather Energy, where he leads a team of cross-functional engineers to assess and improve design quality across domains, bridge gaps at system level, and leverage modeling & simulation capabilities to accelerate and mature design. His expertise lies in classical & modern control theory, advanced estimation techniques, signal processing, mathematical modeling & control algorithm architecture design, functional system architecture design, physics-based & data-driven modeling & simulation across multiple disciplines, and model-based design & SDLC for complete development and post-development maintenance across multiple projects. Shivaram's past experience includes working as Controls & Algorithms Architect and Team Lead - Systems Intelligence at Ather Energy, where he was responsible for designing and developing advanced control & estimation algorithms for Ather's electric scooter and charging infrastructure, modern and optimal control design, Luenberger observer & Kalman filter-based estimation algorithms, state machine design and development, system architecture of Ather's electric scooter (450 & 450X) and charging infrastructure (private & public), design and development of control and supervisory algorithms for various systems, and model-based software design and development. Shivaram holds a Master of Technology degree in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution. He is highly skilled in infra and is a Senior Software Engineer with over 10.70 years of relevant experience.
