Shivaranjan Kumar, also known as Ranjan, is a co-founder and CFO of Learnyst, a trusted and secure platform for selling courses on a personalized website and mobile app. With over 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur and 9 years of corporate experience, Ranjan is passionate about helping entrepreneurs create and grow their business around their passions, knowledge, or skills. Prior to Learnyst, Ranjan co-founded Karaoke Garage, an online social singing platform that unfortunately had to shut down due to high music licensing costs. He then quit his job as a project manager at GE Healthcare to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship in 2012. As a co-founder of Learnyst, Ranjan has helped more than 3000 educators sell over 40,000 courses and generate revenues of INR 550 crores through course sales. He feels privileged when he sees educators teach more than 15 million students using Learnyst. Ranjan takes care of marketing, sales, and business development for Learnyst. He is responsible for deriving and defining product roadmaps through market needs. He also takes care of marketing and sales for his past company, Rhythm Labs Pvt Ltd, where he co-founded Karaoke Garage. Ranjan's education background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science/Studies from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He also has relevant experience in mobile and test tech stacks for 19.37 years. When he's not empowering educators, Ranjan enjoys going on treks, running, and traveling with his family and friends.
