Shivesh Ganju is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for developing highly scalable production software. He is a Masters student at New York University and has worked at Amazon for 1.5 years, where he gained specialized knowledge in data structures and algorithms, as well as Object Oriented Programming, Java, Java frameworks, and AWS Cloud tools such as Lambda, SNS/SQS ElasticSearch, and web frameworks such as Flask and Ruby on Rails. He is also proficient in Javascript and has experience developing Big data applications using Scala, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop. Shivesh has interned at SAP as a Data Science intern, where he worked on Machine learning/ Deep Learning products using Python, Keras, Tensorflow, Gurobi, and PuLP. Currently, Shivesh is working as a Software Engineer II at Google, where he is working on Fuchsia. In addition to his professional experience, Shivesh has also worked as a Graduate Course Assistant for a Programming Languages course and as a Lead Grader for a Natural Language Processing course at New York University. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
