Shivesh Kumar is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in web development, computer vision, and machine learning. He is currently working as a software developer at Gamelore, where he has conducted extensive error analysis of existing computer vision-based algorithms and identified drawbacks in the existing object detection module. Shivesh proposed critical changes that were implemented and incorporated into the product, and he developed key tools to ease the effort of testers and developers. Shivesh has also developed a robust background subtraction method by employing a multi-channel data approach, improvised on current court detection algorithms, and led the effort to combine existing methodology with innovative approaches to solve challenging problems critical to the advancement of the product life cycle. Facing challenging deadlines, he built the required knowledge about machine learning and applied the concepts learned to aid object detection, improving its accuracy. Shivesh has implemented novel court corner and court lines detection algorithms and their classification using machine learning and geometry of the court. He demonstrated out-of-the-box thinking by proposing useful features for the product that were not thought of before. Shivesh has also conducted calibration for cameras using Matlab toolboxes and performed use-case centric error analysis. He has mentored subordinates and helped them adopt the technologies built by the team, enabling them to effectively contribute to the project. Shivesh has a degree in Computer Engineering from Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune. He also completed his 10th & 12th from Sainik School Bhubaneswar.
