Shivkumar Loka is a seasoned Product Manager with over 10 years of experience in the software industry. He is currently working at Moogsoft, where he leads the product management team and is responsible for the product roadmap, strategy, and delivery. Shivkumar is a highly skilled technologist with expertise in programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Bash. He has also worked with various frameworks such as Dropwizard, Spring Framework, and ButterKnife, among others. Shivkumar has extensive experience in build tools such as Apache Maven and Gradle, and has worked with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Kafka. He has a strong background in application and web servers such as Apache Tomcat and JBoss, and has worked with Database Management Systems such as Oracle, MySQL, and Mongo DB. He is also proficient in UX Tools such as Sketch. Prior to his current role at Moogsoft, Shivkumar worked as a Senior Software Engineer I at the same company. He has also co-founded ChannelU, a content-driven social platform, where he developed the product roadmap and features, followed Agile model to develop and deliver the first version of the product, and managed Scrums for product development. He designed and implemented the data layer, backend, and the service layer in production, and set up and deployed production infrastructure on AWS. Shivkumar also developed a user acquisition strategy to onboard 50 users in 1 month. Shivkumar holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from CVR College of Engineering.
