Shlok Chaurasia is an experienced Senior Software Engineer currently working at Amazon. With over 10 years of experience in the internet industry, he is skilled in Ruby, Java, Data Structures, Unix, and Supply Chain Management. Shlok holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. Currently, Shlok is working as a Software Development Engineer at optym - live efficiently. He has worked on the design and implementation of Decision Support Systems for the Transportation Industry, mainly US rail network. As a core member of the Hump Yard Simulation Engine development team, he dealt mainly with Microsoft technologies such as C#, .Net, and Entity framework. He has also been involved in the design and implementation of a generic simulation framework for a simulation system in the area of transportation network. Previously, Shlok worked at Flipkart as a Software Development Engineer, where he was part of the core platform team within supply chain responsible for scaling the Warehouse Management System. He was involved in the design, Re-Arch, and implementation of the whole system, which needed to be sharded. Later, he was part of the Nearby platform team, responsible for building and moving the core backend flows to workflows. He designed and developed the core library, which was used in different application systems. Shlok's education history includes a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, where he graduated in 2012. He also completed his Intermediate and Science degrees from Guru Nanak English School Varanasi in 2007 and 2005, respectively.
