Shoaib D is a highly experienced Senior Technical Professional with over a decade of experience in Java and open source based development. He has hands-on experience in standalone, distributed, and enterprise-level applications, and is skilled in Rest API development backed by Spring boot. Shoaib has a strong background in applying SOLID OOD skills and Design patterns and is constantly learning new skills with System design and technical advancements such as Apache Kafka and Docker. He has good exposure to Data structures and algorithms and is proficient in Core Java, SOLID principles, Spring-based microservices, Design patterns, Data structures, Spring Boot, Swagger, Maven, OOD, Oracle SQL, JSON, OOP, API-based development, Ant, IBM DB2, and Git. He is currently working as a Senior Development Engineer III at NCR Corporation, where he is responsible for creating Self Contained Systems inclined towards Microservice architecture. He is also evaluating POCS for the same using Apache Kafka and Atom alongside Spring Boot and trying out the packaged version from the partner team on POCs with a new framework. Additionally, Shoaib is integrating with Cloudflare API with Admin portal (using internal packaged solution) for displaying whitelisting IP addresses in UI. He is using spring-based rest service using design patterns like Chain of responsibility and factory pattern for evaluation/parsing logic for JSON response to evaluate IP addresses. His tech stack includes spring-based microservices for decoupled code and feasibility, evaluation of existing solutions using the existing version Liferay 6.2, Jenkins, and Oracle SQL. Prior to NCR Corporation, Shoaib worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Finastra and a Senior Data Engineer at Fractal Analytics. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He also completed his SSC from Guru Nanak English High School, Kalyan (District: Thane). With 13.12 years of relevant experience, Shoaib is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Spring, Microservices, SQL, Kafka, Java, infra, Data Engineering, Jenkins, Integration, Docker, GCP, UI, Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, CI/CD, Test, Research Scientist, and Backend.
