Shoaib Mohammed is a highly motivated and accomplished Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Software Development, Machine Learning, and Web Development. He is a recent graduate of Stanford University with a Master's degree in Computer Science and has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani Dubai. Shoaib is passionate about creating a free education system and improving accessibility for people with special needs. Currently, Shoaib works as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where he is part of the Intelligent Cloud Control Machine Learning (ICCML) team. He has optimized data processing resulting in a significant decrease in execution time and set up AWS infrastructure to re-train models using anomaly detection. Shoaib conducts on-site interviews for internship and graduate roles at Amazon, showcasing his strong communication and interpersonal skills. Shoaib has previously worked with ACM Association for Computing Machinery as a Chapter Secretary, where he created an open-source collection of free resources for university students, held a seminar on the essentials of computer science for 6 popular fields, and conducted a 10-week long Coding Bootcamp with sponsorship from Microsoft. He has also worked as a Web Development Lead at MicrosoftTechClub BitsPilaniDubai, where he organized and led various events such as AI Gaming Hackathon, CodeBlitz, and Technobuzz.
