Shobhit Jain is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over 14 years of experience in the software industry. He is a data-driven engineer who believes in delivering products quickly and iterating until they meet users' needs. Shobhit has a unique perspective on product development, as he thinks like both a user and a developer, which allows him to gain insight into user behavior and approach. He has a passion for working with multiple technologies and loves to learn new things. Currently, Shobhit is a Senior Engineering Manager at Clear, where he is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ClearONE Mobile App, Black Mobile App, and ClearPRO Mobile App and Website. He also serves as a delivery manager, stakeholder manager, and project manager for these apps. Additionally, he helps with code reviews, design reviews, and product reviews for these products. Shobhit is also responsible for hiring and mentoring the team, managing OKRs, planning roadmaps, and resolving conflicts. Previously, Shobhit worked as a Principal Engineer at Tookitaki, where he designed, developed, and architected the Tookitaki website and related b2b products. He also led the team of UI/UX developers and contributed to the product by designing scalable UI solutions for data-intensive applications. Shobhit was also responsible for developing an in-house framework for the Mock Data library and Components framework. Before Tookitaki, Shobhit was a Technical Lead at MakeMyTrip, where he led multiple lines of businesses, including Buses MMT Website, Buses Mobile Website, Buses Mobile Apps for IOS/Android, RightStay, and React Native Flipkart Integration of Buses. He was also responsible for end-to-end low-level design, architecture, POC, development, and deployment of products. Additionally, Shobhit mentored, hired, and tutored the team and contributed to projects using ReactJS/React Native for Android/IOS, Android Dev using Java/Mobile Web Development. Shobhit holds a B.Tech degree in Computers from Uttar Pradesh Technical University and attended Lord Mahavira Academy for his secondary education.
