Shon Jacob is an ambitious Fullstack Developer currently working at Mindtree. He is passionate about developing his skills in Java, Angular, and React stack, and is committed to building a successful career in Fullstack development. Shon began his career as a Software Engineer Trainee at noon, where he gained valuable experience in test-planning, test-scenarios, test-case brainstorming, text-execution, and production support. He also worked on API testing using Charles Proxy and Postman, and created frontend automation flowing using Selenium for the web in Java. Shon contributed to the Agile team-based goals and delivered value to the end-user within the timeline. Prior to his current role, Shon worked as an SDET-I at noon academy, where he was responsible for transforming ideas into real features. He verified data present in messaging queues and memory cache such as Apache Kafka and Redis, and contributed to the Agile team-based goals. Shon also worked at trivand technologies as a Software Engineer Intern, where he transformed a PHP restAPI application to Spring Boot for a UK client and developed the frontend of a website in ReactJS for a Bangalore client. Shon has an impressive educational background, having completed a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amrita University, and a High School Diploma from International Indian School, Riyadh, and Cathedral Composite PU College & High School. He has also completed a programming boot camp and self-study in Java and SQL, and a course in JavaScript, NodeJS, and React Fullstack development from Zero to Mastery Academy.
