Shoumik Ghosal is a highly skilled Software Engineer, currently working for the AirAsia super app as an iOS app developer. He is a graduate of IIT Bhilai with a Master of Technology in Computer Software Engineering. Shoumik has a range of experiences that have made him a better communicator and team player, which he attributes to his previous work as a software engineer for automotive embedded systems and helping campus startups turn into successful businesses during his undergrad. In his current role, Shoumik is responsible for improving the current AirAsia super app and building new features as part of the Mobile (iOS) team. He is excited to learn more about building products that impact millions of lives and keeps solving problems with technology. Shoumik is passionate about using technology to make a difference in the world and is always eager to take on new challenges. Prior to joining AirAsia, Shoumik worked as an Assistant System Engineer for TCS, where he was trained as an Embedded Software Engineer for Automotive Embedded Systems. During his time at TCS, he received a Star Performer award for performance during training with a grade of 4/5. Shoumik handled various responsibilities and successfully completed tasks such as Embedded C developer in MotorControl algorithm development team, Python developer in HILS testing framework development team, Embedded C developer for Bootloader/Reprogramming POC development, and C developer in Unit Testing of ADAS applications using winAMS tool. Shoumik holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Management. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kharagpur, from 2000 to 2009. Shoumik is highly skilled in Software Engineering, test, iOS, Mobile, Web, and Python. With 3.94 years of relevant experience, Shoumik is a valuable asset to any team and is always eager to learn and grow.
