Shounak Bhandekar is a dedicated software engineer with a strong background in computer engineering. He has four years of experience working for a product-based company in the storage domain, where he has had the opportunity to work on multiple fronts, including automation, licensing, command line parsers, object store plugins, packaging, cluster installers, containers, and cloud. Currently, he is working as a DevOps Engineer at intive, where he is responsible for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and containerization, among other tasks. Shounak is also pursuing an MSc in Cloud Computing and is well-versed in a range of technologies, including Linux, Terraform, GCP, Ansible, Kubernetes, and C/C++. He is familiar with various code editors, operating systems, languages, version control, bug tracking, package managers, databases, code builders, packet capture, distributed key-value stores, licensing, workload generators, protocol testing, cloud platforms, virtualization, object stores, and image builders. In addition to his technical skills, Shounak has a strong educational background, having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has also completed an HSC from S.M. Choksey Junior College and an SSC from Rosary High School. Throughout his career, Shounak has worked with various companies, including national college of Ireland and ryussi technologies. At ryussi technologies, he led the object store team, guided final year engineering students with their projects, and was responsible for designing and developing a distributed scheduler and a command line parser, among other tasks. Overall, Shounak has 5.94 years of relevant experience and is an expert in DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, GCP, C, AWS, Android, Docker, MySQL, Web, and infra.
