Shourya Lala is the Founder and CTO of Fello, a game-based savings and investment platform for Gen-Z in India. With a mission to activate a wider audience towards better personal finance, Shourya is building a platform that helps young millennials save, play, and earn higher returns than traditional savings accounts. As a seasoned entrepreneur with over 4 years of relevant experience, Shourya has a strong background in software engineering, NLP, and mobile development. Shourya began his entrepreneurial journey as Founder of Cryb, an on-demand hyperlocal service for home assistance. Leveraging NLP, dynamic IVR, and platform-independent mobile apps, Cryb addressed a fundamental and integral facet of metropolitan urban Indian households. After Cryb, Shourya joined Entrepreneur First as a Founder in Residence, where he worked on building his next venture, Fello. Entrepreneur First is the world's leading talent investor with a 3% acceptance rate, and Shourya was backed by Founders Fund and Greylock Partners with Peter Thiel, Reid Hoffman, and Demis Hassabis on the board. Shourya holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology and Modern School, Barakhamba Road. He also completed the W22 Batch program at Y Combinator. As the Co-Founder and CTO of Fello, Shourya is responsible for driving the company's technology strategy and product development. He is passionate about building innovative products that make a difference in people's lives.
