Shourya P.N. is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in developing robust server-side enterprise applications using Agile methodologies. He has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Communicational Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Shourya is passionate about building technology that solves problems for people around him and enjoys applying his technical skills to conflux the spheres of technology and innovation. Currently, Shourya is working as a Software Engineer at KPIT, where he has developed enterprise applications using Java, Objective-C, and Python in accordance with ASAM standards for multiple clients in and around the automotive sector. He has also written APIs to make the application modular and portable to support multiple platforms. Shourya has proposed and implemented an end-to-end automated solution using different cross-platform development tools on Raspberry Pi, Android, and iOS devices. He has supported and coordinated with multiple teams for different components of the application, thereby quickly understanding the dependencies and architecture of the application and taking full ownership of several components. In the past, Shourya has worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Retisense, where he built a VR-ready Unity App for Android platform "Virtual Furniture App" using which one can view the furniture in one's own living space. He has also implemented the Virtual Reality app in both marker-based and marker-less Augmented Reality type and designed highly optimized algorithms to generate 360*180 degree panorama by stitching images from a set of 10 images per shoot. Shourya has presented an efficient and exceptionally affordable solution for producing custom panos compared to existing market solutions. He has also worked as a Summer Intern at Electronics Corporation of India Limited, where he presented the hardware implementation of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm using hardware description languages Verilog and VHDL.
