Shreenivas Pai is an Associate Product Engineer in R&D Protective Relays at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) with a passion for innovating and revolutionizing the world through clean energy technology, especially in the industrial and automotive sectors. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power and Energy Systems at Arizona State University, Tempe. His area of interest lies in domains of power electronics, power systems, electric vehicles, renewable energy, energy storage, energy markets, and the application of machine learning in the energy industry. Shreenivas has gained experience in various fields, including research, engineering, and business development. He is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant under Dr. Christiana Honsberg, developing a solar-powered water purification and distillation system. He has also worked as an intern at Austin Energy in the Smart Grid and System Operations department, analyzing the value of DER integration within the grid and studying the various system impacts it could have on the grid and energy market operations. In addition, Shreenivas has worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Sterling & Wilson Pvt. Ltd in the engineering and business development departments. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mumbai University. Shreenivas has an impressive skill set, including proficiency in software such as PowerWorld, PLECS, MATLAB-Simulink, AUTOCAD, REVIT, PVSyst, Arduino, Gurobi Solver, SketchUp, Microsoft VISIO, Microsoft Office, PSS/E, Step7 Microwin Smart Software (PLC Software), and Zelio Soft (PLC Software). He is also proficient in programming languages such as PYTHON, C, C++, AMPL, HTML, and JAVA.
