Shreya Solanke is a Tech Lead at Walmart Global Tech India with nearly a decade of experience in IoT software engineering and development. She is a passionate applied scientist who is dedicated to embedding IoT into various verticals and domains of business, including healthcare, industrial automation, and home automation. Shreya's motto is to develop smart solutions that democratize intelligence, potentially making everyone smarter, faster, and more productive. Shreya is a working Group Member and Co-Author of IEEE P1931.1, which is a standard for an Architectural Framework for Real-time Onsite Operations Facilitation (ROOF) for the Internet of Things. She is also committed to sharing her experience and observations with college students, interns, and IoT enthusiasts in her free time after work. In her current role at Walmart, Shreya is working on IoT enablement of Walmart stores. Previously, she worked at Wipro as a Software Engineer III, where she was responsible for developing an IoT-enabled kidney care dialysis machine for one of the leading kidney care service providers in the world. Her responsibilities included establishing connectivity between the dialysis machine in a patient's home and the service provider's on-premises cloud solution, ensuring data integrity, and working on data encryption and TLS1.2 two-way server authentication to ensure data security in transit. Shreya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from WCE Sangli and a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Government Polytechnic Amravati. She has a Tech Stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Research Scientist, Azure, Integration, Java, and Docker. Shreya's relevant experience in the field is 9.79 years.
