Shreyan Ganguly is a final year undergraduate student majoring in engineering at Jadavpur University, India. With a passion for applying machine learning and deep learning techniques in the machine vision domain, he has had internships and research publications on the same. He is proficient in python based deep learning libraries and web scraping libraries. Currently working as a Data Analyst at Sears Holdings India, Shreyan has previously worked as a Mitacs GRI student at école de technologie supérieure. During his tenure, he developed an algorithm for the estimation of depth from three unstructured and uncalibrated monocular camera feeds. He has also worked as a Student Developer at Red Hen Lab as part of Google Summer of Code 2021. His work involved creating a CLI tool to detect cuts in films, especially old films with noisy and broken frames. Shreyan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Jadavpur University, which he is expected to complete in December 2023. His tech stack includes expertise in Deep Learning, Python, and ML. With relevant experience of 0.27 years, Shreyan is a research scientist with a keen interest in the application of machine learning in the field of machine vision.
