During his tenure at Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt. Ltd, Shreyas has worked on two projects, Pure and Pathotracker. In Pure, he revamped and redesigned most of the pages of the application to make it more interactive, introduced features that would help the users visualize the data more efficiently, and reduced the dependency on the developers by building pages on the application using which the users could change the control configurations. Shreyas also wrote a script in Python to link the Kits, which are used as control configurations, with the labs which use them. In Pathotracker, he redesigned the pages to ensure users won't need to move across the application to complete one action, such as adding a building or a floor. Shreyas added a new feature, a new type of analysis called Microbiome analysis, and ensured many changes won't be required in the future to add other types of analysis by making the results field in the database flexible. He was instrumental in adding the Species density page to the application, which highlights the particular locations on the floorplan with different colors depending on the percentage of species found in that area. Shreyas made use of Pandas to perform data manipulation and increased the efficiency of the application in the retrieval of data. He also implemented a feature through which the input fields of any page get prepopulated, and the data is loaded as soon as the page loads, thereby saving the users a lot of time. Shreyas implemented the external users' login using Django forms and successfully deployed it. Users can log in to the application without using the Eurofins domain as well. An option to register more users has also been added, reducing the dependency on the support team to create new users.
