Currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at Visa, he has won awards for his innovative solutions in global hackathons, including an app that enables reservations at nearby service providers and facilities cab booking for the same. He also presented a solution that connects households to nearby essential goods’ merchants online, featuring cashless ”charge”-on-delivery, which was presented 50 days prior to the launch of Swiggy Genie/Instamart. Shreyas has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at StrideAI where he proposed and implemented a novel, scalable method to procure annotated data which directly eliminated the bottleneck in the project "Table Structure Recognition using Deep Learning". He also built a tool to generate statistics and sentiment of a given Earnings Call Transcript. As a Machine Learning Intern at Indian Institute of Science, he worked in the domain of Computer Vision and Gesture Recognition under the guidance of Dr R Bhakthavathsalam. He analyzed the performance of classic CV-ML algorithms in recognizing Indian Sign Language fingerspelling, and his work during this period has been published in the international journal Transactions on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Shreyas holds a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. He also completed his 12th with a remarkable 91% from Vidya Mandir Ind. Pre University College.
