Shreyasi Mandal is a Junior Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. She is currently working as a Research Intern at IBM, where she is involved in the project titled "Targeted Fact Extraction from Textual Resources to Improve KBQA." Her primary focus is to explore the usefulness of textual resources towards improving Knowledge Base Question Answering (KBQA). Shreyasi is passionate about learning and believes that the more she learns, the more she realizes how little she knows. Before joining IBM, Shreyasi worked as a Python Developer at MPYG, where she achieved an accuracy of nearly 98% on a posture classification model built using TensorFlow with data extracted from real-time user feed using MediaPipe. She also extracted angles between joints for posture correction from the 33 3D landmarks inferred from MediaPipe. Shreyasi has also worked as a Subject Matter Expert in Computer Science at Chegg, where she solved application-oriented problems in Computer Science in a step-by-step format for better understanding of the students. She organized and prioritized the quality and accuracy of answers over quantity. Shreyasi's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, which she is expected to complete in 2024. She also holds a degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from St. Xavier's School, Raiganj. Shreyasi's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Python, and TensorFlow. With 0.77 years of relevant experience, Shreyasi is a highly motivated individual who is always eager to learn and explore new things.
