Shristikaran Katiyar is an accomplished Assistant Vice President at Barclays with over 4 years of experience in software development. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and a B.Tech in Computer Science from NIT Goa. Shristikaran has a proven track record of building and productionizing industrial Full Stack Applications that are now live. He is the recipient of the ‘Extraordinary people’ Award under the Barclays recognition program 2018. Currently, as an Assistant Vice President - Investment Banking, Electronic Trading at Barclays, Shristikaran has developed and carried 3 projects to production. He has developed the back-end pricing engine at Copart along with his team, which computed the pricing breakdown for each customer based on custom selections of services they consumed across the USA, Europe & UK. He has also contributed to the development of 2 additional web services that were responsible for creating custom agreements specific to each client and then a separate web service for e-signing agreements with the clients. Prior to his current role, Shristikaran worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Copart, where he developed and carried 3 projects to production. He also worked as a Student Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he managed a team of 5 UT Dallas Computer Science students as they worked on delivering a Capstone Project. Additionally, he was a Data Science mentor for the Mark Cuban Foundation, where he conducted several Data Science boot camps across Texas for college students and taught them hands-on implementation of Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning on the Microsoft Azure platform.
