Shruti Dalal is an upcoming Software Development Engineer (SDE) intern at Uber and a student at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. With a passion for technology and a strong academic background in Mathematics and Scientific Computing, Shruti is poised to make a significant impact in the tech industry. As an UberSTAR intern, Shruti has gained valuable experience in software development, working on projects that have helped to improve the Uber platform. She has also been a part of the Uber She++ program, which aims to empower women in technology and provide them with opportunities to succeed in the industry. Before joining Uber, Shruti worked as an Academic Mentor at a counselling service, where she mentored first-year students in Introduction to Programming in C. She also served as a Company Coordinator at the Students' Placement Office at IIT Kanpur, where she was responsible for organizing and conducting interviews, group discussions, and tests for various companies and startups during internship and placement drives. Shruti's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from IIT Kanpur, which she is set to complete in 2024. Prior to this, she completed her high school education at Mayur Public School. With 0.77 years of relevant experience in software engineering, Shruti is well-equipped to take on the challenges of her upcoming SDE internship at Uber.
