Shruti Gupta is a seasoned Engineering professional with over 8 years of experience in Backend Development and Mobile Application Development. Currently, she is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft India, where she is involved in solving complex problems in the field of advertising. Shruti's expertise lies in her ability to see the big picture of the product from both design and implementation perspectives. Her experience in working on various projects focusing on the Supply and Relevance side of the advertisement space for Amazon.in in the backend team has helped her gain valuable insights into the advertising domain. Prior to her current role, Shruti worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, where she worked on Digital music delivery-related projects, focusing on architecture and implementation. She also handled the India first category search coverage and relevance experiments for sponsored products at Amazon.in, taking the initiatives globally as well. Additionally, she worked on Amazon's Sponsored Products relevance, showing more accurate products to the user based on the user-query. Shruti has also worked on the launch of an India first Analytics platform, focusing on the storage and backend application layer. The platform is based on an AWS stack, including but not limited to, AWS Simple Workflow Manager, Data Pipeline, Redshift, and Aurora. Apart from her professional work, Shruti has also mentored students for Google Summer of Code from 2015 to 2017 at anitab.org. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
