Shubham Kumar is a passionate Civil Engineering undergraduate with a desire to develop a successful career in his chosen field. As a Management Trainee at Coal India Ltd, he is gaining valuable experience and skills that will help him achieve his career goals. Shubham has had exposure to construction site relevant activities during his internship as a Construction Trainee. He has also gained experience in different non-destructive tests such as Rebound Hammer Test, UPV Test, and Acoustic Emission Testing. Prior to joining Coal India Ltd, Shubham worked as an intern in Non-Destructive Testing at the Indian Institute of Science. During his time there, he classified the cracks that occur in different cementitious materials as Shear or Tensile cracks on the basis of acoustic emission data by using MATLAB software. He also studied the effect of aggregate size along with cement mortar on the strength and curing period on fracture using acoustic emission testing. Shubham also has experience in marketing research, having worked in the Department of Management Studies. There, he studied the impact on mobile subscribers of BSNL Punjab after the introduction of Jio offer using statistical and analytic tools (SPSS and MS Excel). He also evaluated the plans introduced by BSNL in the study period and proposed the most beneficial plan. Shubham holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also completed his Intermediate from B D Public School, Patna, and his Matriculation from St. Joseph High School, Patna. In addition to his technical skills, Shubham has experience in test and mobile technology. He has 2.11 years of relevant experience and is eager to continue developing his skills and knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering.
