Shubham Sureka is an accomplished Data Scientist with a passion for coding and machine learning. He completed his Master of Technology in Computer Science from IIT ISM Dhanbad in December 2022 and has been working as a Data Scientist at Aidetic since May 2022. Shubham has a strong background in coding, having started with C++ during his HSC. He has been working on machine learning since his third year of computer engineering, with a focus on neural networks like CNN and LSTM. He successfully implemented these networks in his seminar and BE project. After graduation, Shubham joined Sears Holdings India (SHI) as a Technical Associate (Data Scientist). He worked on several industry-level projects, including MSM (Member Scoring Model), identifying RFC (Reason for Contact) for webchats using NLP, recommendation systems, CLV (Customer Lifetime Value), reinforcement learning, and Amazon Lex Chatbot. He used various tools and techniques like LightGBM, XGBoost, and fast ai in these projects. Shubham enjoys working with data and creating his own features for the models. Shubham scored an AIR of 372 in GATE 2020, a highly competitive exam for engineering graduates in India. He has also organized and participated in various events during his college years, winning some of them. Shubham's tech stack includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Python, ML, Recommendation system, Reinforcement Learning, XGBoost, AI, CNN, Deep Learning, and NLP. He has 1.60 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist and is constantly looking to expand his skill set.
