Shubham V is an enthusiastic and quick learner with a passion for taking on new and challenging work. With 2.28 years of relevant experience, he is a strong engineering professional skilled in a wide range of technologies including C++, Javascript, PHP, Data Structures, Algorithms, RESTful Microservices, Software Development, SQL, Object Oriented Programming, Operating System, Git, Postman, and Linux. Currently, Shubham is working as an Associate Software Engineer at mPokket, a fintech company. In his role, he is responsible for maintaining the loan repayment system as a micro-service and developing new features for scale. Additionally, he is responsible for maintaining and testing the performance of SQL databases queries against required API’s for the Collection Page and optimizing them for faster response. Prior to mPokket, Shubham gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Google Summer of Code, where he developed an algorithm for generating depth maps from stereo images and estimating a 3D model of the scene using OpenCV and C++. He also worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern at the International Institute of Information Technology, where he developed various background subtraction techniques for object detection using Python and OpenCV. Shubham's technical expertise spans a wide range of areas, including software engineering, SQL, microservices, PHP, Javascript, OpenCV, web development, research science, MySQL, object detection, Redis, RabbitMQ, C++, C, and Java.
