Shweta Goel is a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech India with over 11 years of relevant experience in building scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Object Oriented Programming, Middleware Service Bus like IBM's Integration Bus & Message Queue. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IEC College of Engineering & Technology and completed her schooling from Cambridge High School, Mumbai. Shweta started her career as an off-campus recruit for Cognizant and later joined IBM after three years. During her short stint of about two years there, she experienced the variance of culture between the two companies. She then joined Mindtree with a lot of dilemma due to personal reasons of relocating to Bangalore. However, she was confident of her work and was appreciated by one and all during her two years with them. Working with Wipro for another two years thereafter was a roller coaster ride for her, and she realized the need to focus on interpersonal skills is of equal importance as one's technical skills. Throughout her journey of nine years with these companies, there was a constant hammering in her head that she wanted to utilize her potential more. She didn't really know where her calling was until an opportunity with Walmart knocked at her career's door. She is hoping that this really quenches her thirst for working with vision and passion, and she is en route her association with Walmart to make the butterflies of her stomach settle forever and prove to everybody this is that place! Shweta is organized in whatever she does, not obsessively compulsive though. She prefers being honest and straightforward than please one on the front and stab them in their back.
