Shwetha Rangappa is a highly skilled Software Test Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Currently, she is pursuing an internship at Philips Lighting, where she is exploring the challenges and possibilities in Test Automation for Mobile App development. Shwetha has a strong background in analyzing and reviewing requirement documents, creating test plans, preparing and reviewing test cases, and executing different levels of testing such as smoke testing, adhoc testing, and regression testing. She is also proficient in identifying defects, logging them, and retesting the fixes to ensure the quality of the software. Before joining Philips, Shwetha worked at Hewlett Packard as a Software Test Engineer, where she contributed to various projects by performing functional testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. She was responsible for detecting and logging defects, classifying them based on priority and severity, and creating manual defect tracking reports. Shwetha's experience at Hewlett Packard has helped her develop strong skills in SDET, Integration, and Mobile testing. Shwetha holds a Master's degree in Computer Networking and Engineering from RVCE and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Oxford College of Engineering. She also has a PUC degree in Science from Jyotinivas College and a High School degree from St. Thomas Aquinas School.
