Shyaam Muthusamy is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 2.77 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Goldman Sachs as an Engineering Analyst, he is responsible for developing backend applications for crucial micro-services related to User Identity, including customer and identity management. Shyaam is actively involved in incorporating new features into existing systems for seamless customer onboarding into Marcus, a bank led by Goldman Sachs. Prior to this, Shyaam served as the Executive Head of Marketing and Initiatives at the Entrepreneurship Cell of NIT Trichy, where he led a team of 50 students to foster entrepreneurship on campus and across the country. He forged associations with VC firms such as Kalaari Capital, Matrix Partners, Helion Venture Partners, Orios Venture Partners, and Blume Ventures for Ventura 2020, an international business model competition. He built a mentor network of over 75 entrepreneurs and industry experts and improved operational efficiency and outreach in the execution of Ventura 2020. Through active engagement programs and increased personal mentoring, he reduced member attrition rates from 21% to 8%. Shyaam also served as the Marketing Manager at the Entrepreneurship Cell of NIT Trichy, where he mentored coordinators of the team and ensured the smooth conduct of entrepreneurial events. He brought established personalities such as Markandey Katju (Ex-Chief Justice of India) to the campus and helped students of NIT by providing a platform to execute their unicorn ideas. Shyaam holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from NIT Tiruchirappalli, which he completed in 2020. He also completed his high school education from R. S. Krishnan Higher Secondary School and St. James Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Shyaam's technical expertise includes Software Engineering, testing, Microservices, and Backend development.
