Shyam Maheshwari is an experienced Engineer and Staff/Manager at Qualcomm with over 16 years of industry experience in designing, developing, and debugging embedded software and firmware. Currently, he is working in the automotive security domain (Trustzone solution) at Qualcomm India Pvt. Ltd. and is responsible for the complete life cycle of Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipsets starting from pre-silicon, bring-up & commercialization, and leading a team of 6+ people. Previously, Shyam worked in Core BSP (Board Support Package) of MPROC (Multi Processor Communication) between Windows and other in-house operating systems, TMS (Task Managements Services), SDI (System Debug Image), and Minidump areas at Qualcomm. He also supported software development of the UI (User Interface) framework that provides smartphone-like UI on the feature to ULC phones and UI design & development using the same framework & BREW platform. At Mango Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Shyam had complete ownership of Theme Engine, Theme Application, SMS Application, Phonebook Application, and Content Viewer Application. He was responsible for design, feature addition, development, and bug fixing in these areas. At e-Xseed Technology & Device (P) Ltd., Shyam was responsible for coding and unit testing of SIM-OS commands defined in GSM 11.11 specification and SIM Application Toolkit commands defined in GSM 11.14 specification. He developed the GSM Personalization Tool (GPT), which was used to personalize the card based on different providers like Airtel, BSNL, etc. Shyam's specialties include strong programming and debugging skills in Embedded C, strong debugging skills on chipsets using JTAG-Trace32, and device driver development on Windows OS and other in-house OS. Shyam has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Software System from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. His tech stack includes UI, software engineering, designing, C, GPT, test, mobile, and search. Shyam has 6.02 years of relevant experience.
