Shyam Swaroop is a Co-Founder and CTO at Atri Labs, a company that focuses on turning Machine Learning research into business outcomes. He is a highly skilled professional with over four years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering, AI, and Machine Learning. He has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University, where he was a Graduate Research Assistant. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from IIT KGP and completed his high school education at Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Shyam is passionate about building products that are the first of their kind, and he hopes to continue doing so in the future. Recently, he has shifted his focus to Embedded Systems and aims to build devices that harness the power of AI and Machine Learning. He is also interested in deriving semantics from text. At Atri Labs, Shyam leads the development of a toolkit that enables ML product teams to create web apps quickly for their different stakeholders. The toolkit includes a proprietary visual editor and a full-stack web development framework built on React, with the backend supported in TypeScript and Python. Prior to Atri Labs, Shyam co-founded Quaffles, where he served as CTO, and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University. He has a broad range of technical skills, including expertise in ML, AI, web development, backend development, research, Python, TypeScript, and frontend development.
