Shyantan Ghosh is a Senior System Engineer at Siemens Healthineers with extensive experience in manual and automation testing. With over 9 years of experience, he has worked with various testing methodologies such as Smoke Testing, Function/Component Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing & Re-Testing, Exploratory Testing & Ad-Hoc Testing. Currently, Shyantan is solely responsible for the development and fixing of automation scripts in UFT and running automatic regression tests using the framework by creating different functions based on the requirement for the Reinsurance Project. He collaborates with developers as needed to resolve problems and identify the root cause of product defects. He also works with the Product team to write User Acceptance Criteria for each story and sets up test environments and keeps them in-sync with production environments. Shyantan has experience in identifying, analyzing defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content. He is responsible for preparing/updating the test case document for testing the application from all aspects and participates in bug tracking, bug reporting, and defect review meetings. Before joining Siemens, Shyantan worked as a Test Engineer at Mindteck and a QA Test Engineer at Srishti Software Applications. At Mindteck, he verified change requests and defects, documented, tracked, and communicated test plans, test results, and unresolved problems. At Srishti Software Applications, he managed requirement gathering, system analysis, and finalization of functional specifications. Shyantan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science & Engineering from Sri Krishna Institute of Technology. He is skilled in SQL, integration, SDET, Selenium, QA, Java, C, and web technologies. He has hands-on experience in healthcare standards like Di Com and HL7. Shyantan provides estimates and feedback to the project manager/account manager for project scheduling and ensures high quality and accuracy is maintained at all times.
