Siddesh BG is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over 14 years of experience in Build Release Infrastructure and Configuration Management. He has a proven track record of building complex software and developing scalable tools to improve engineering team productivity. Siddesh is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Rubrik, Inc., where he is responsible for the Developer Platform. Siddesh specializes in Tools development, where he has expertise in building tools integrating Version Control (GIT), Bug Tracking (Jira), and Build systems using RESTful web services. He has written various Atlassian BitBucket Policy enforcement plugins using Java, Spring, JSON, and Atlassian Plugin SDK. He has a special interest in developing dashboards with Elasticsearch/Kibana and has written many tools with Python/Perl, like automated transformation of GIT commits across various maintenance release branches, CGI Perl-based build portals for build initiation, tracking, storage, reports, etc. Siddesh is also experienced in Build Management, where he loves to automate the build process and debug build failures.
