Siddhant Verma is a highly experienced Software Developer with a passion for exploring and learning how technology can change people's lives and make them more efficient. With over 10 years of experience building scalable and efficient software, Siddhant has been lucky to be part of some great organizations that have given him such opportunities. Currently working as an SDE at Amazon, Siddhant is responsible for working on a world-class cloud-based ML platform, AWS Sagemaker. He is excited to be challenged every day, innovating on customer's behalf and insisting on the highest standard of software development. Prior to this, Siddhant worked for Amazon India where he architected and developed an ad pipeline that creates millions of product listing ads for Amazon.in and Amazon.com.br and update them in near real-time. He also worked on exploring and designing newer communication channels like WhatsApp which solved many challenges in reaching Amazon's other customers - sellers. Before joining Amazon, Siddhant worked with Myntra, a fashion e-commerce company part of Flipkart group, where he started his understanding of e-commerce as a domain working on core backend platforms like Identity and Social. Siddhant's initial career days with Thomson Reuters and Nokia have been a great platform for him to learn and work on domains like information retrieval and hyperlocal discovery and search. Siddhant's specialities include system design, patterns, identifying failures, Model View Controller (MVC) methods of organizing code. He has expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Guice, AWS (DynamoDb, Aurora, Redshift, SQS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, Cloudwatch, ECS, Cloudformation, Kinesis, Firehose), Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDb, ElasticSearch, SOLR, RabbitMq, Kafka, Python, Redis, Memcache, C/C++ (been a while). He is also picking up newer technologies like GoLang and Docker. Siddhant holds a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad and completed his AISSCE from DAV Jawahar Vidyamandir Shyamali, Ranchi. With 12.27 years of relevant experience, Siddhant is a highly skilled and motivated individual who is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills.
