Siddharth Aphale is a Battery Algorithm Engineer at Bosch Global Software Technologies with a passion for solving complex problems in the field of battery state estimation algorithms for cloud applications. He is currently pursuing a work integrated MTech. in Data Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani, where he is learning about Data Mining, ML/DL, and Artificial Intelligence. Siddharth's expertise lies in Li-ion Battery Multiphysical models, control algorithms (SOC/SOF/SOH) for onboard/cloud implementation, and Machine Learning. During his BTech, he worked on experimental and computational methods for Li-ion battery safety (mechanical/electrical/thermal) characterization, and his research has been published in SAE and IEEE. Prior to working at Bosch, Siddharth was a Battery Algorithm Engineer at Sun Mobility, where he developed equivalent circuit models to simulate cell dynamics, and an Adaptive Extended Kalman Filter (AEKF) based algorithm for online state of charge (SOC) estimation. He also developed a multi-constrained available power estimation algorithm for battery pack charge/discharge control to improve battery safety and health. Siddharth's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune and a Master of Technology in Data Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani, which he is expected to complete in 2023. In terms of technical skills, Siddharth is proficient in ML, Deep Learning, and Data Science. He has 2.10 years of relevant experience and is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Bosch. Siddharth is a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow in his field.
