Simran's experience includes working as a Full Stack Developer at North Carolina State University and as a Software Engineer at Infosys Center of Emerging Technologies (iCETS), the R&D unit of Infosys. At Infosys, she played a key role in ensuring that datasets were balanced during Machine Learning model training by doing extensive research on datasets and summarizing the data for analysis of class distribution labels. She also improved prediction accuracy of Machine Learning models by pre-processing the dataset images using Computer Vision. Simran researched on Machine Learning and Data Science and developed POCs to identify and showcase technology capabilities to accelerate innovation. She also designed and developed web applications using different frontend frameworks, backend technologies, and relational and non-relational databases. Simran's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from GTU and a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, which she is expected to complete in December 2022.
