Simran Singla is an ambitious software engineer with over three years of industry experience. She graduated with a B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Chandigarh Engineering College, Chandigarh. Currently, she is working as a Software Engineer at Globallogic where she is working on the Vertical foundry: Google’s Knowledge Graph [Data As A Service]. Simran is proficient in several programming languages, including Python and SQL, and has a keen interest in working on problems related to system design, Python, and product management. She has a proven track record of being an excellent problem solver and has worked on several projects that required her to provide solutions in database technology, programming, operating systems, and working across teams to provide solutions with good communication and leadership. In her current role, Simran is responsible for debugging the existing knowledge graph verticals and resolving bugs present. She is also creating new verticals/developing pipelines for data ingestion for the Knowledge Graph. She regularly interacts and works in parallel with Google Engineers to look over the maintenance and the lifecycle of the Google Knowledge panel. Before joining Globallogic, Simran worked as a Game Developer at Ingenuity Gaming, where she was responsible for implementing the game math into a working game engine. She managed to work across various teams like QA, DevOps, and has been a part of the client interactions and product owners to elicit the requirements. She has also worked as a Summer Intern at Ducat Education, where she worked on Core Java and Android. Simran's technical skills include Software Engineering, SQL, Python, product management, QA, and DevOps. She has a relevant experience of 3.78 years and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow in her career.
